In addition to our general sessions with the doctors and nurses we offer a range of more specialised services.
Both Drs and nurses run clinics to monitor patients with medical conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes and Heart Disease.
We are always looking to make improvements to the service that we offer and have recently changed the way that we are monitoring and conducting annual diabetic reviews. We plan to carry out your annual review in the month of your birthday - whilst we establish this pattern this may mean you have your review within the year so please do bear with us as we make this change.
Further information is available at reception.
You don’t need to make the journey to hospital A & E department for the treatment of minor injuries. Treatment is available here at the Health centre during surgery hours.
If you have sustained a minor injury such as a sprain, cuts, bruising or burns ask at reception for an emergency appointment. This will be made with either a nurse or a doctor.
Please be advised that due to staff shortages we are unable to offer any travel appointments until further notice. Please contact the Travel Clinic in Loves Farm or Boots Bedford Travel Clinic.
We offer a wide range of family planning services including emergency contraception. Appointments are available with our Practice Nurses and the doctors for this service.
Your GP and the local midwifery team will share your care whilst you are pregnant. Queries about your pregnancy or delivery may be left for the midwife on 01480 357964
We can perform a range of small procedures in the surgery. If you require this service, your GP will advise you.
In addition to this we hold a number of clinics for visiting services including:
As we are a training practice from time to time the Doctors and Nurses may have a medical student with them. If so the receptionist will tell you when you arrive for your appointment. If you would rather them not be present during your consultation please tell us.
